Can you use Rockband 2 instruments on Guitar Hero Metallica?

I have Rockband 2 and all the instruments and I know that those instruments are compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour, but are they compatible with Guitar Hero Metallica?

Yes. They are! . Rockband 2 guitars suck. I would use a Guitar Hero guitar, but stick with Rockband 2 drums. They work MUCH better than Guitar Hero drums.
