To be totally honest, chances are you won't see a Great White coming for an exploratory bite because they're lazy and sneak attack from below the surface of the water. They usually will bite once, with a bite force of approx. 300 lbs and then leave to let their prey weaken and come back for an easy meal.

Although there still not enough concrete proof to link genetic memory to our common sense and other abilities, the question is whether you choose to believe or not.
