I went to the Tulsa, OK show for american idol, and I saw a shirt they were selling. It was an Adam Lambert shirt, and it was grey, and it had his eyes and hair on it, and I am pretty shure it said Adam Lambert on it. I didn't have enough money to buy it then, But I really want that shirt. Is there a website I can go to to buy that shirt or a website that sell Idol Tour merchandise? Thanks!

idolstour.com sells merchandise, and it looks like they have the shirt you're describing.

Do you currently cycle for fun or as a hobby, but want to go to the pro level? If you want to get there, you must be willing to put in the time, energy, and the training. However, you must also acquire the necessary pro cycling equipment. When you look at the pros at an event such as the Tour de France, they have the best of the best for equipment so that they can adapt to the weather conditions, terrain, as well as the length of the race.

When the temperature rises, consider wearing cycling shirts with short sleeves, or none at all so you can handle the heat and conditions. Some brands to consider when shopping for cycling jerseys include Inverse, Pear Izumi, and Voler, just to name a few.

What other equipment should you think about getting? Knee and arm warmers might be good to have while looking for a cycling jacket, so you can stay warm when you encounter colder weather. A cycling shirt will not only help you look good, but feel good as well.

So where can you find pro cycling equipment at a reasonable price? The good news is that the prices over the years have declined due to their increase in popularity. Santini is one of the most reputable brands you can purchase from, as they are known for the high quality equipment they produce.

The benefits of getting pro cycling equipment will be apparent as you attempt to go to the next level of cycling. Research as many brands online as possible to find the best one for you.

What other pro cycling equipment should you consider getting?

I'm actually glad he won. I liked Adam for the longest time, but near the end, I thought Kris was doing better. So, to me, it didn't really matter who won. But I know for a fact that Adam, Danny, and Alison are going to make a record deal, because their voices are so good! I hope the best for them in the future.

KRIS ALLEN IS JUST WOAH he has the voice that America likes!
plus, everyone felt that way. they like adam lambert but at the end, 'oh my god, kris allen is just the bomb' so things happen and change due to God. And America chose Kris. And who wouldn't be proud?

I love you, Kris!

Nominated for 19 Emmys and 5 Golden Globes, including Best TV Series - Drama, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman experienced the rare double victory of audience loyalty and widespread critical acclaim. Premiering in mid-season (January 1993), the hour-long CBS original series illustrated American frontier life like few other shows before it. Like the smash hit Little House On The Prairie, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman vividly portrays the hardship, struggle, and community kinship endemic to the era. One of the first Western-themed shows to cast a female doctor (as the star of the show nonetheless), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman enjoyed a successful five-year run, marked by two highly-touted made-for-TV movies...

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman follows the exploits of Dr. Michaela "Mike" Quinn, a female doctor living in 19th Century America when that sort of thing was unheard of. Working for years as an assistant in her father's New England medical practice, the death of her father prompts Dr. Mike to answer a want ad for a doctor in the thriving American frontier town of Colorado Springs. When she arrives, the town is taken aback, having expected she was a man. But Dr. Mike quickly endears herself with the townsfolk and expands her family by adopting three orphan children - Matthew (Chad Allen), Colleen (Erika Flores/Jessica Bowman), and Brian (Shawn Toovey). As the show progresses, she eventually marries local Byron Sully (Joe Lando), and the final seasons focus on the lives of their nuclear family. Sporting an assorted cast of loveable, and sometimes eccentric, characters, the town is never short of excitement or drama...

The Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman (Season 4) DVD features a number of dramatic episodes including the season premiere "A New Life" in which Dr. Mike and Sully return to Colorado Springs following their honeymoon. Now they must learn to adjust to a changing township which is marked by its first ever bank, built by Bostonian Preston A. Lodge III... Other notable episodes from Season 4 include "One Touch of Nature" in which Dr. Mike struggles with the possibility that she may be unable to conceive, and "Woman of the Year" in which Dr. Mike is embarrassed to be nominated Woman of the Year (because she's shy when it comes to boasting about herself)...

Anyone else sad to see Danny Gokey voted off American Idol?

I thought sure Danny would make it as well as Alison two who really had unusual voices. But now it really looks like Adam is going to win.
Of course Kris could too.

I think Danny Gokey should have been in the finals.
He is who me and all my friends wanted to win. We like Danny best,Kris second best, and we don't really like Adam.
What I think happened is that when Allison, the rocker girl, got voted off last week think about it. All of her votes go somewhere. They're going to go to Adam because he is the other rocker. Also because people were thinking oh danny is going to be safe for sure so I'll vote for kris so he can stay in. So many people do that. I did it last year and it has happened in the past.
I think the judges and especially Kris(i think he thought he would have been going home or at least in the bottom) were truly shocked at the fact that Danny was going home.

Oh yeah and Paula gave him a really stupid song no one has ever heard of to sing.

I am so sad that he got voted off.
Now i will vote for Kris

The "Saw" Series has pumped out a new release annually, every year from 2004 - 2007. Viewed as works of art, these films are not very good at all. Viewed as a corporate product line-- as exercises in style over substance, specializing in shocking moments rather than a cohesive whole-- the "Saw" series is an exemplary exercise in its genre.

I do not recommend seeing any of these films. And yet, I have learned more about the film making process from watching the "Saw" DVD commentaries, and observing the films' construction, than I have learned from many of the greatest art house films. If there is a way to approach this series, I think it should be treated as the villainous Jigsaw treats his victims. Keep it at arms length, and treat it like a guinea pig. Don't empathize with the victim, and by the end you will see how it ticks.

What follows are some brief thoughts on each film in the series.

"Saw" (2004) is by far the best of the series. The strength of the first "Saw" movie is its premise. Its main weakness is the twist ending. As the film begins, we want to know why these two men are chained in a bathroom, and will they saw off a leg to stay alive. The various death traps are original and engaging, and we wonder who is the mastermind behind it all. But by the end, the answers are mostly unsatisfying. The twist feels obligatory, and opens up some plot holes that weren't there before.

Additionally, I like this film because of the casting. Seeing Danny Glover and Carey Elwes in a popular horror film is gratifying. Ken Leung and Michael Emerson add to the mix, prefacing their participation together in the new season of "Lost." Tobin Bell (Jigsaw) is unfortunately underused.

Grade: B-

"Saw II" (2005) really focuses on where the entire series gets its popularity: the death traps. In the first "Saw," the traps were novel, a good reason to see the movie. With the sequel, the traps immediately feel like part of a "formula," the recipe used to duplicate the success of the first film over and over.

The traps in "Saw II" are admittedly more entertaining than in the first "Saw," but the premise feels forced because its all written around the traps. Imagine the sheer amount of time, effort, and planning to make a house full of traps, and to try to predict how the victims will deal with it all. What's more, it all has to be automated, because unlike the first film, there's no one there to supervise the game. Jigsaw is captured by the police in the very first scene (one of the few times this movie really goes against genre expectations).

The best trap? The one where the girl has to dig out a key from the bottom of a pit filled with hypodermic needles. It'll make you cringe. But there's really no other reason to see this mess. It's "average" in every sense of the word.

Grade: C

"Saw III" (2006) shows serious signs of franchise fatigue. Like many horror franchises before it, it entices the viewer with promises of resolution, only to set up still more sequels. The characters, save Tobin Bell as Jigsaw, are uninteresting. Maybe that's why the best scenes in "Saw III" are not the elaborate (and unbelievable traps), but the scenes where Jigsaw's life is on the line (like when he undergoes makeshift brain surgery).

Grade: C-

With Jigsaw now dead, "Saw IV" (2007) has its work cut out. The result is the worst film in the series, although the idea for the story is not entirely bad. Jigsaw appears in numerous flashbacks, which try to enhance the series "mythology" by showing us how he got started as a serial killer, and answering such questions as where the doll and pig mask came from. That's the good part. The bad part, again, is the inevitable series of traps. This time, it is revealed that all the trap scenes run concurrently with "Saw III," thereby sidestepping the issue of how Jigsaw sets up more traps while he's dead. Of course, this only further enhances the implausibility of the third film, and begs the question of how the traps will originate in "Saw V."

Speaking of traps, the traps in "Saw IV" really, really test the viewer's suspension of disbelief. In the earlier films the best traps are always the simple, plausible ones: one person trying to escape one death machine. But "Saw IV" ignores this fact, instead offering up numerous traps spread throughout the city and involving usually two characters per set piece.

In one example, the protagonist is supposed to lure a hotel clerk into a pre-rigged room and force him into the trap mechanism. What if the clerk wasn't there that night? How long was the room set up that way? What if someone had entered the room beforehand? And how does the television turn itself on to play the videotape that explains the clerk's back story? Where did Jigsaw acquire the footage for the tape? Why is the tape edited for dramatic effect? Did Jigsaw do that himself? It seems like Jigsaw benefits endlessly from dumb luck as so many circumstances work out just right, at just the right time...

And so it goes. For 95 minutes.

Grade: D+

There will be a "Saw V" too. They mention that little nugget in the director's commentary for "Saw IV." What does it say about a franchise, that they promote a as-yet-unmade sequel in the special features of the movie preceding it?

When you watch American Idol do you see those three girls by the band? Those are professional background singers. They are responsible for the life of the music and without them, often times it would seem empty or incomplete. They get to travel the world, mix and mingle with stars without the headache of contracts and quotas.

Demo singers are also necessary. A producer may want to submit a song to a major artist, and need a 'dummy' track with vocals on it to give the artist the creative idea of the song. Demo singers are needed in every genre, and if you are a flexible singer with varying styles, this can be a great career for you.

Section leaders are paid vocalists who sit in a choir and are basically the best singer in the section. In order to do this, your voice must be clear and steady enough for others to easily follow you. It's not a high paying position, but once I was paid $200 to sing alto at a church's Christmas concert that lasted an hour. Not bad, eh?

Opera choruses can be a great source of extra income, a great workout for your voice, and exposure to the arts. You also meet great people and make wonderful memories (I met Miss America 2003!). Choruses often enter the stage 3-5 times during a production, and sing about 45 to 60 minutes worth of music during the 3-hour show. Even smaller companies pay $300 per run (4-5 shows). Larger opera houses that require more experience may pay more for their chorus members.

If you're interested in old musical theatre, (Sound of Music, etc) you may be interested in a career in stage. Often times, opera houses will put on a production dedicated to a composer/playwright team, and create an evening of their music. This is a great starting point for those classically trained and wanting more exposure and practice without traveling out of town.

*Remember: Professional singers, whether signed or unsigned, make money from live performances, not through CD sales. So if a comfortable living is what you want to make for yourself, consider some of these options along with others. There's teaching how to play an instrument, church gigs, club gigs, home business, or another source of income. For many of you it will challenge you as well as satisfy your 'singing bug'.

Be blessed, and happy singing!

I want to hear from you! Please let me know if this was helpful. You may visit http://www.AmericanSingingStudio.com for more information about me.

Poll\survey: Do you care if a band\singer signed onto a major label?

Like most people beleive, their simply just selling out. It's understanble. but is the bashing and hating really neccesary?
Personly, i don't really care. If its good music, who cares.
Anybody agree? Whats your opinon?

They can't earn a living unless somebody buys their record. People buy what they want to buy and it doesn't bother me. Its not my money.

I've given up on radio and mtv as they tend to cycle through the same handful of artists without taking big risks on new material.

Sometimes it feels like popular music has become more about good marketing rather then good musicianship.

But then again good music is out there for those who take time to find it so all is not lost. But definitely our media has failed us. Instead of a window to new things it has become a mirror on what already is. No music nowadays is likely to incite any revolutions.

When it comes to singing, everyone loves that huge powerful, high note at the end of the song. Whether it is Steven Tyler's huge note in "Dream On", or Paul McCartney's scream in "Hey Jude", we all know the note and we all want to hit it. But, most of us can't. Maybe we can hit it once, but as we found out on last season's American Idol when Danny Gokey tried to do Steven Tyler, sometimes it doesn't come out just right. If you want to hit the high notes, you have to learn how to sing high notes every single time.

It doesn't matter what kind of voice you have. If you are low and gruff like Gokey, or you are brilliant and sharp like Adam Lambert, you still have a high note in you that is begging to come out. The trick is to learn how to sing high notes with power and reliability, no matter how out of breath you are, or how frightened you are.

The best way to get the most out of your voice is through knowledge and practice. Good singers are good because they learned how to sing. It doesn't come naturally, no matter what people will tell you. The best singers - even rock singers - have taken lessons, have studied the craft, and they know how to get the most out of their instrument.

You too can learn how to sing high notes in any song, but you have to be willing to put in the time and effort. A good vocal coach can help you identify what "your" high note is now and what it can be in the future. The same coach can also help you manage your breathing and phrasing so that when you are ready to hit it, you will have the power at the ready.

Instead of plugging away for years on end, a short cut to instant fame and recognition is to get onto American Idol and become a star.

While some winners have, quite frankly, disappeared without trace, the likes of Jordin Sparks and Kelly Clarkson have proved they have the talent to stay in the game. They have a lot to thank American Idol for.

The one place in normal competition that nobody wants to end up in is second, but that doesn't seem to be the case with American Idol. Many of the losers on the night have gone on to have successful careers, often eclipsing the actual winners.

Here are a few names that you will know doubt recognize, even if you can't remember the ones who actually beat them on American Idol. These guys have great careers thanks to finishing second.

As far back as the second season, runners up made their mark. Clay Aiken shuffled onto stage looking like a rabbit caught in headlamps, he looked so out of place we felt sorry for him. Then he began to sing, and we were absolutely blown away.

It was a major surprise on the night when America voted Ruben Studdard the winner, as Clay had been the clear favorite. Since Idol, however, their fortunes have been reversed. While Studdard achieved moderate success, Clay has gone from strength to strength and is a major star on the radio and on Broadway.

Who can forget the guy with the baby face and the big big voice named David Archuleta? Coming second did him no harm whatsoever, and this guys star is still rising. He's working hard and reaping his rewards. David is a true star who is going to be with us an awful long time.

The big star of this season was the charismatic Adam Lambert. His attitude and persona won him a legion of fans and coming second to Kris Allen has done him no harm at all. His star is definitely in the ascendancy and he looks as if a long term career is guaranteed.

If you like Scott's writing style, his signature stamps blog will give you more articles to enjoy. On http://signaturestamps.org, he showcases some of the many personal and custom stamp varieties one can choose from.

Before the movie there was the book. And the book is the root of all evil...erhm...awesomeness that was then transformed into a movie. Many people skip over the book and watch the movie, which isn't getting an Oscar nominee any time soon, but it was a decent movie that reached its audience and made lots and lots of money. Twilight's true power lies in the books themselves. The saga transports girls and taps into all of their primal desires: to be loved and loved in return.

Twilight allows the book to be commercialized. Actors give characters a face that allows studios to create merchandise like Twilight party favors, and posters. Movies also reach a greater audience than books do. For some reason, many people don't like to read. They associate reading with schoolwork and boredom. The problem is that they're reading the wrong books. Twilight originated as a book so there was no way other than fan art to create merchandise to sell and make a greater profit. Being the capitalist society that we live in, there was no other place for Twilight to go but the movies.

The first three books especially transport the reader to a different world. With a simple language, anyone with a middle school reading level can enjoy the books. There is consistent action (minus Bella's whiny period in New Moon) and danger that makes your heart race and get you addicted.

Meyer's vampire folklore differs from industry standards. Her vampires go out into the sun and essentially have every day lives. One of the reasons to read the book is to explore this new world within our world. These vampires share similar qualities with other vampires and it's interesting to see where Meyer takes the other folklore. Granted she may have gone too far with Renesmee, but she sold it and supported her ideas and people loved it.

Another reason why girls love the Twilight series is the boys, duh. Edward has the tortured soul that taps into every girl's motherly instinct. We want to take him up into our arms, cuddle with him, and make everything all right.

Same goes for Jacob. Besides the fact that he's drop dead gorgeous (in our minds and as portrayed by Taylor), he's the best friend that every girl wants in a guy. Someone to talk to and spend nights with. He's warm (what girl isn't cold, seriously), and he goes to the ends of the earth for Bella. Granted its because he prematurely imprinted on Renesemee, but that's another story.

Besides all those reasons, the real reason is how girls can easily identify with Bella. They share a connection. Every woman has been torn between to guys, loved someone, and lost them. They've had to balance friends with a relationship. All Twilight does is show one girls way to handle being a teenager.

When people put down Twilight to fans, the best way for you, the fan, to debate them is to remind them of how the book is easy to read, involves love, danger and heartache. Don't forget how identifiable Bella is. Don't forget to tell them to shut up and read the book before they talk.

If you are hosting a Twilight party and looking for Twilight party favors and Twilight party supplies, E-WeddingFavors.com has the biggest selection of unique Twilight party favors, supplies and much more. These products are one of a kind and are all at a very affordable prices at or around $1 or $2.

What songs do you think that nobody should ever attempt to sing except the original artists who recorded them?

It really bugs me when I hear people try to poorly imitate a classic song by the original artists. This is one of the major reasons why I don't like American Idol or watch the show.

In my opinion no one should ever attempt to imitate:

"Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland.

"House of Love" by Amy Grant and Vince Gill.

"Nobody Does It Better-The Spy Who Loved Me" by Carly Simon.

and anything by Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.

I just don't think that the average singer has the ability to successfully sing these songs. I don't even think that most professionals can song these songs and maintain the original style of the artists without making the song sound dreadful.

Which songs do you think no one should ever attempt to imitate for fun, karaoke, or seriously?

Ok. So you've decided to audition for American Idol, or the local talent show, or the local Karaoke talent search. What's going to give you that big step up and put you ahead of the other singers and performers? What are the judges looking for in their first place winner?

o First you need to realize that the visual impression you make is every bit as important as the quality of your singing. Having a terrific singing voice will not, by itself, win you that first place position, unless you happen to be a Josh Groban or Celine Dion) and even they spend much time working on their presentations.

o Of course you need to practice and perfect your songs. Memorize them FAR in advance of the audition so there's no chance of your forgetting lyrics or melody. Record them, and listen - not just for bad notes, but also listen as if you were hearing this singer for the first time on the radio. Do you like them? Would you go out and buy their album? Do they "speak" to you with their emotion and style? Perform your audition before some friends.

o Just as much time (if not more) should be spent working on your performance as on the song itself. Practice exactly where you want to move during the song. Use the entire stage area, even if it is only 6 feet, to "tell your story" Practice your expressions and body movements so that they become an equal part of your song, along with your voice quality. Leave nothing to chance. Rehearse it all. If you are singing in a karaoke contest, memorize the song. Get away from the lyric screen.

o What you wear needs to coordinate with what you are singing without being overly obvious. (If you are wearing shorts and sandals while singing "You Raise Me Up" your outfit will prove detrimental to the overall power and effect.)

The seventies was a decade that was blessed with the greatest rock bands in history at the very peak of their powers. As well as producing the best music during this era, they also brought out some of the greatest rock band t shirts that have ever been made.

Music tee shirts from the seventies were usually based around either the band's distinctive logo, the newest album cover's artwork or a graphic that had been created to represent the latest world tour.

The following great rock band t shirts all have something in common. They are all iconic representations of a rock group at the very top of their game. Please enjoy these 5 awesome music tee shirts from the seventies.

Queen News Of The World Tour

As far as I am concerned, Queen were the best group of them all. They played better than anyone else, they looked better than anyone else, and in Freddie they had the best front-man that ever lived. The News Of The World Tour was at a time when Queen literally ruled the world of rock and man did they know it. The rock band t shirts that accompanied the tour were pretty awesome as well.

Based on the News of the World album cover artwork, the design depicts a robot with one hand holding the bodies of the band members, while the other rips through the t-shirt. These are truly iconic music tee shirts.

Pink Floyd Prism T-Shirt

Many of the great rock band t shirts are based on album artwork and there are perhaps not many album covers as easily recognizable as Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon". This t-shirt is particularly distinctive in that the famous prism is placed on a very high quality pink tee shirt, which looks absolutely stunning with a pair of jeans.

Black Sabbath Tour

Some of the rock music tee shirts from this era simply show a line up of the band, as is the case with this cool Black Sabbath shirt. This is a black t-shirt with a vintage style picture of the band's faces. Which just rocks.

Led Zeppelin Japanese Poster

Occasionally the music tee shirts will be based around a cool looking poster that was perhaps used during a tour. This Led Zeppelin t-shirt is based on a Japanese poster and has the band featured on a blue colored shirt with a modified Japanese Rising Sun flag as a backdrop.

The Who Red White Blue Tie Dyed

I have saved my personal favorite rock band t shirts to the end. This is the type of t-shirt that is based around the band's logo and this has got to be one of the best known logos of any rock group out there. I am talking about The Who's Union Jack logo and these music tee shirts totally rule.

So where can you buy all of these awesome music tee shirts?

The Rock Band T Shirts section of the Lousy Tee Shirts website includes all of the music tee shirts featured in this article and more.

American Idol gives undiscovered talent a chance to be overnight singing sensations. Before you can become the next Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson, you have to successfully get through the American Idol registration process.

All applicants have to register in person; there is no online registration. So the first step is to locate the closest audition city from the listed posted on the American Idol web site. The audition cities are spread throughout the country but if you live in a small town, plan a road trip. Carrie Underwood, for example, had to drive eight hours from her home town in Checotah, Oklahoma to audition in St. Louis, Missouri.

Registration begins two days prior to the actual auditions and is on a strictly a first-come, first-served basis. Registration times will be updated on the American Idol website so arrive as early as allowed. It is not recommended to wait until the audition day to register. If the producers run out of time or space, latecomers may not be allowed to register.

There is no overnight camping allowed at the audition venues so expect a crush of people when you arrive. Make sure to dress for the weather-like any Hollywood show, it goes on rain or shine, hot or cold.

To register, you need two forms of ID to prove your age, such as a drivers' license and birth certificate. There is no exception to the two ID rule. If you're a minor, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Once registered, you'll get a wristband and a seat ticket. You can bring one guest, who needs to sign in the same time you do. They will also get a wristband and ticket. Once they put the wrist band on you do not take it off. If you remove the wristband for any reason, it becomes null and void. They might give you another on the audition day if space allows, but you'll be at the bottom of the audition list, meaning your chances to perform will be slim to none.

The call time for audition day is 5:00AM. In addition to the wristband and ticket, you need to bring a signed release form, which can be downloaded from the AI web site. You'll also have to show your two forms of ID one more time to finally get into the venue where the auditions are held.

It's a time-consuming process but with patience, perseverance, and a little luck, you'll get your shot at being America's next singing idol.

Do you think American Idol will retain Kara DioGuardi for next season?

She is signed on for a one-year contract but I don't think the show would be willing to keep her mainly because it has caused a lot of tension on this season's show. I think American Idol has to get back to the way it is with three judges and less interruptions.

I hope not I don't like her. I hate it when she says "I'm confused. Who are you going to be as a artist?" or "I still don't know what type of music would be on your album" its so annoying! I noticed she did that to Matt Giraud a lot! He would sing a Rock/Pop song and say that's the type of music he would have on his album, then Kara would say "I like you singing R&B/Blues better" so Matt would sing R&B/Blues and then Kara would be confused about the type of music that would be on his album. Also American Idol has been running overtime a lot this season and I think its because of Kara since you have to go through her opinion, its just too many judges. I normally don't even care what the judges say anyway because sometimes I just don't agree with them.

I would rather see more about the contestants than the judges.
