Arguably the greatest entertainer of all time, Frank Sinatra was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, in 1915. It was a difficult birth, and he suffered scars and a perforated eardrum that he carried with him for the rest of his life. He left home at age 17, and the rest, as they say, is history.

If anyone could be so lucky, they might own a piece of treasured memorabilia from Sinatra's earlier days with The Three Flashes, or with the Frank Mane band. These are "gigs" that most people are unfamiliar with, unless they're very avid fans.

Far more pieces are likely available of Frank Sinatra's stint with the Tommy Dorsey band. Sinatra released over forty songs during his time with Dorsey, and set out on his road to stardom.

By the time Sinatra scored with Columbia Records, “Old Blue Eyes” was a household name, and there are more pieces possibly available from this era, lesser only to Sinatra's movie years and his work with Capitol Records.

There were many stand-ups of Sinatra used in movie theaters and concert venues, and these are in high demand by aficionados today.

If you're the fortunate owner of Frank Sinatra memorabilia, you have a piece of history and a piece of art, because he certainly took the art of music to a new level. If you can find an item that has an authenticated autograph you are surely even more fortunate.
