Don't you think it's amazing that almost everyone has a calendar in their home? We really do need to know the date, the month and how the month is about to roll out. Our life is guided by time. Firstly, make sure you have a free calendar template of some sort or another. You can find month by month templates or weekly calendar templates everywhere online, it just takes a little looking around. Choose the template that works best for you and your lifestyle. In my case, I prefer to use a weekly calendar as a week is a block of time that is manageable in my eyes, whereas some people might prefer the full month.

Secondly, make sure you will actually USE the template. I'm not kidding here. It's easy to make it a non priority project. But hear me out. YOUR time is very important... YOUR time doesn't come back. You need to make sure that you are spending your time productively and wisely. So don't just have the business diary open and the wall calendar out. Make sure you've got a calendar template printed out and with you at all times. Ok!

The next step is to get into the mighty fine habit of writing into your calendar template every time you have an appointment planned, arrangement or activity coming up. In other words, plan on paper. Sit down and work out what you have to do this week, or this month. Don't leave it too late to plan. Plan before the fact. Get ambitious about your week...

Whatever you do, just get into the habit of writing into your calendar! It'll become a habit that stays with you for years to come, and you'll appreciate it.

And lastly, celebrate the small stuff. When you knock over those little goals, and those little achievements, celebrate it. Reward yourself. Be good to yourself. Step by step we climb the mountain, right? This is why you want to use free calendar templates... Not just because they're free... I want to make a calendar with vintage pics of me for my military man who could help me with that?

I remember seeing a TV segment of a photographer that recreated vintage scenes and made all the pics into a calendar and the lady sent to her hubbie in the military. I love the idea so much I want to do it too. anyone have any idea on how to go about this?

It's not an easy thing to come up with 12 seasonal costumes and sets. You should call the largest studios near you (in the biggest city near you) and ask if they have done this. It may come down to how much you are willing to pay and/or how far you are willing to travel.
Another option would be a one photo calendar. One large pin-up photo with all the months below the photo.
If you live near or on a base and can get enough other wives/GFs to do this it would make it a reasonable proposition for a local photographer. I like the idea, I hope you find a solution.
